Calculated Designs, LLC opened its doors for business in January 2006. We have designed hundreds of homes all over Arizona and surrounding areas. We specialize in Santa Fe, Mission style, Mediterranean, Hacienda, and Southwest designs. Don't have a contractor yet? No problem. We work with most contractors in the area. Once your house plans are complete we can send your blueprints to several recommended contractors for pricing. Armed with your inputs, our talented designers craft the preliminary plans, including a comprehensive floor plan, elevations, and the site plan of the property. These detailed drawings provide an exciting glimpse into the potential of your new space and serve as the foundation for the entire project.
We understand the importance of your input. After presenting the preliminary plans, we meet with you to discuss any changes or modifications you may desire. Once you approve the changes, our designers will finalize the plans.
With your approval on the modified plans, we begin the process of finalizing every detail. This includes ensuring the plans meet all relevant codes, regulations, and requirements, setting the stage for a smooth permit acquisition process.
To ensure structural integrity, we collaborate with specialized truss companies to obtain accurate truss calculations for your project. Additionally, if needed, we design the HVAC system for optimal comfort and energy efficiency.
Once the plans are complete and thoroughly checked, we handle the paperwork and submit all the necessary documents to the building department for their review.
While the building department conducts their review, we remain proactive. If any corrections are required, we promptly make the necessary adjustments to ensure a seamless path to obtaining the building permits.
Upon receiving approval from the building department, we can provide you with copies of stamped plans, allowing the building process to commence smoothly get your project started.
